financial management experience

    I am taking the ACCA DIP FM and really enjoying it. Christmas is coming and I'm going to ask the big man for an "apprenticeship" in the area as is the practice for intending full accountants.

    I have a technical degree and 15 years experience in ICT sector. Project management, business development, personnel and client management roles have been held in start-up, development and multinational environments in US, Europe and Asia.

    I've read how the climate is effecting other apprenticeships but would welcome comments or PMs anyway.

    In short, Dip FM is:
    >financial strategy
    >performance management
    >interpretion of financial statements
    >risk management
