Hi all, I stayed in the US over the summer on a J-1 work and travel visa, and I was wondering if there are any limitations or restrictions upon entering the US again on the visa waiver program thing. I was thinking about visiting a friend there for a few days, so will I be allowed entry or must I be a resident in Ireland…

Hi all,

I stayed in the US over the summer on a J-1 work and travel visa, and I was wondering if there are any limitations or restrictions upon entering the US again on the visa waiver program thing.

I was thinking about visiting a friend there for a few days, so will I be allowed entry or must I be a resident in Ireland for a certain amount of time before I can travel to the US again?

Shouldn't be an issue once you complied with the rules of the J-1/didn't overstay etc.
