I am a complete newbie to linux.

    I have installed Debian.
Now I want to get my wireless card working.

    Model: TP-LINK: TL-WN550G

    Where do I start?

    Thanks!

According to this site you need the MadWifi drivers. Full instructions here but it involves compiling from source. Hopefully someone else will give you an easier way.

Hi just to answer my question from earlier.

I went with Ndiswrapper, which allowed me to use the windows driver in the linux environment.:D
