Ok - bear with me beause I'm technically inept.

I have a personal phone (Meteor) and a Work Phone (Vodafone). This is annoying, not least because of having to carry around two phones all the time. In an ideal world I would have one phone where I can send/receive voice and text from both numbers. I know how to divert voice calls to another number etc but I don't know if you can do that with text.
One of the main reasons is that work are verty strict about personal calls being made on a work phone and I don't want to run up work cals on my personal mobile either.
    Any ideas? Cheers in advance...

You can get dual SIM adaptors and dual SIM phones. Very few dual SIM phones let you have both lines active at the same time, so just check that feature if you need to. Otherwise switching from L1 to L2 is just a menu process (some cheaper SIM adaptors require a reboot as well, which adds to the hassle).

The Samsung D880 DuoS is one of the most mainstream ones I've seen.

You can get it on Expansys for about €230.

It allows you to operate both SIMs together.
