If your car has a built in tape player rather than a CD player, how can you go about getting rid of the tape player and installing a CD player? Is this a hard job? Expensive?

    Thanks

By built in, do you mean a stereo that's integrated into the dash, rather than a standard single DIN one?

What's the make and model? Could be tough. Some manufacturers may have a direct upgrade / replacement. Or sometimes you can put in a standard DIN and get a facia for that particular car.
