I've a problem with the sound on my TV. For the past 10 years...no problem.

However, for the past week I have no sound on my chorus channels when I watch it on scart 3 (to which it's connected). But, if I watch on scart 1, through my video player there is sound. My second outlet has no problem.

Question - is this a chorus setting problem, or a tv problem....?

It may be a problem with one of your SCART inputs on the TV. What happens of you connect something else to it?

Also, do you use the digital sound input to your TV? On Philips sets, for example, you have to associate the digital input with a specific SCART input, so maybe someones changed that setting albeit accidentally?

Is the scart lead slightly loose try pushing it in fully it may have got knocked out a bit. Also try switching the working scart from your video to your tv. If you still have no sound in your tv its at fault.

    Thanks guys

Scart at back was the problem...little fingers doing what they shouldn't.

Seeing as it was working fine through the video I didn't think of a scart problem.

    Simple solutions work best...!

I'm also having a problem with the signal...in the last two weeks it's started cutting and since Saturday it cuts out 5 times an hour. Screen usually goes blank, then a message saying there may be a problem with your card etc.

I phoned Chorus, and customer service guy says he's boosted the signal to the boxes to see if that helps. Haven't watched much since then, but fault has re-occurred.

So is this my problem or Chorus's (which still means mine)...?

You may need a service call. Check the connection into the box is secure and also at the outlet box on your wall.
