Longing to go myself. Claridges is the restaurant that carries 3* He has michelin ratings on other restaurants but I'd be heading there first personally.

You should maybe go for the lunch menu, far more reasonably priced with the same quality of food. Their menus are all available online. Let us know how you get on if you do go.

Claridge's has a michelin star, not three
the one with three michelin stars, which is the one I would advise, is this one:

Don't know what made me think that Claridges had 3* he's always banging on about it and I knew one of his restaurants had 3* I must have put 2 and 2 together and came up with that. Thanks though.

If you want something a little more relaxed and informal (and cheaper), try Maze.

maze is good and reasonable enough ... service is exemplary if even sligfhtly overkill, depending on your own personal taste but well worth it..... watch out for new Gastro Pub TBA in London (im told dub too) with microbrewery, ramsay is wokring on beers to accompany food in the same vein as wine, and brewing locally for cheaper costs and thus cheaper product to sell on.
