Hey everyone, I'm hoping to buy my first car in January, now I've been getting different advice off friends. Some are saying get a little run around as you will most likely damage it at some stage as I'm a newbie to driving and others are saying now is the time to get a good car at a good price. I've been saving up and would probably pay around E5.000. I'd hope I could get a decent hatchback that wouldn't be too hefty on the insurance. I'l be 23 in January so insurance should be interesting. Any thoughts will be a help. Thanks;)

it depends on wat u want from the car really.
since your new to the road i'd suggest a 1.4 litre car max. It would keep insurance costs down and fuelling the car wouldn't be too bad either.

how bout a focus or fiesta (both hatchbacks and easy to drive and they'd be handy enough for ya 2 park aswell)

VW polo?etc. many cars to choose from just have a look on carzone

Buy something economical, reliable, but not beautiful to learn on. Next year buy something nice.
