Did you reset your display settings?
    If not:
    Turn off your PS3.
Turn it on again, but hold down the power button until you hear 2 beeps. This will reset your display settings and start up the PS3 as per normal in the current resolution of the TV.
Hopefully then the TV will work with the PS3 :)

No prob dude :) Just in case you didn't know, PS3 games are region free so you could buy/rent a few good games while you're there.

The only problem is with online games, servers for the majority of games are region locked, so if you buy a game there when you come home you'll always be playing with people in North America. You'd only be able to get downloadable content from the American PSN as well. Apart from that it's all good!
