    Hi all,

I borrowed a video camera a couple of years back. I realised only today when i took the tripod out that i must have left the quick release plate on the video camera (which has since been returned and sold!)

The tripod is a Velbon PH 248 with Vel Flo 5 and the quick release plate to suit is a QB-4L.

Any advice on whether to just chuck the tripod or hunt down one of these plates?

    Thanks!

Why would you want to buy a new tripod if it took a few years to realise that you had mislaid the plate was missing?
