Hi, Would any of ye know how to get a connection to an IRC network outside of DCU? (Not Redbrick) Specifically by using Xchat if possible. I know it *can* be done, but I know not how to do it. Port 6667 outgoing is specifically denied isn't it?
You should be able to get outbound access from redbrick, via the proxy, to port 6667 externally though, I've done this before
