Cheers, thats a bit dissapointing, thought with the growth of the November meeting that it would be on the three days.

There'll be enough tripe filling between the races which are aired on Channel 4 without them having a morning line.

Just bumping the Morning Line thread, articles in the papers this week with regards to viewer numbers being down and the head of racing on Channel 4 not being overly concerned as he reckoned the figures dont tell the whole story etc.

If they want to know why viewership is down, this morning is a prime example. Open meeting on at Cheltenham but we still have a clip of the Cartier awards!! FFS its tripe like this that's making people turn off or not turn on at all. There are 6 trappy affairs on Ch4 racing today, its previews of these races I want not a video of the FLAT racing awards. I'm just glad I SkyPlus the show nowadays and can skip over the drivel!!

Not to be harping on about it but the 3.15 from Wetherby goes off with Graham Cunningham saying "No time to analyse this race", well GC, and I know it has nothing to do with you, but on the old Morning Line they would have at least given it a quick mention. But the new 'magazine' style ML choose to use its time showing some of the Cartier awards and Jamie Moore's house rather than preview todays racing. Rant over, I promise not to speak on the subject again......

No time to analysis the race? Oh dear, and the point of the show is.... I am glad I don't get up to watch it any more. Spot on to the other poster bout John Francombe.

If anyone cared to watch the American coverage shown on ATR for the Breeders Cup, on week leading up to it, it was wall yo wall analyse ,clips of the horse out training.non stop talk about time sections etc ,stuff to make the average punters head explode .it was good.

Lord save channel 4 if the director can't see why the numbers are down.

Jesus at bad as Matt Chapman can be, he tries to tell you something worthwhile and he won't kiss the arses of the horse/trainer or jockey or fawn over them, solely based on their past records like Claire Bloody Balding (who is not the worse of the C4 crew) Of course, take Champmans tips withstand health warning. Even the American dude on ATR is good.As for the Irish chap who covers ATR in Ireland, why is he not on Channel 4? I like Gleeson but Jesus h Christ.

Morning Line is akin to the Cheltenham preview nights you have to be told what to back[limited knowledge].
