Is it an iphone sim or a sim from another mobile? its 2 seperate issues.

If you are a registered iphone user, you can ring o2 to get your PUK code (pin unlock code) HOwever if you are trying to unlock the iphone so it can be used with any sim, then you need to use pwnage tool.

Well a lot more info is going to be needed for anyone here to help you... Is it an iPhone 1st gen. or an iPhone 3G that you are trying to unlock? The 3G cannot be unlocked with any software at the moment, including the Pwnage tool. You can unlock it with a suitable SIM adapter though (in fact, I have mine working just fine on Vodafone).

Beyond that, which network do you want to use it with? If you have the original iPhone, "3" SIM cards will not work in it, but Vodafone/O2 and Meteor will.

Finally, which firmware is currently on the phone? And what Mac are you using Pwnage on? There have been reports that the new aluminum MacBooks and the new MBPs are causing problems with the existing version of the Pwnage tool...
