Have built plenty of computers but my head started to hurt when I began to wade through the models available. I have about €600 to spend so could someone in the know just recommend one to me for a family member.

    Thx.

    Nice Lenovo

Decent dual core processor, 2Gb ram, 160Gb hd. And the option to run either XP Pro or Vista Business. Its a good solid laptop for a basic user, and Lenovo are known for good build quality and reliability. Good all-round package for €500
