    Hi

I am covering an horse racing event in a few weeks time. I will be officially accredited so will be on the track and in the parade ring working. Will I need public liability insurance for this or what kind would I need? Or would I even need any. What I mean is, will I be asked for an insurance cert when I arrive to work?

If I need insurance, does anyone have a contact number of a broker/company who provide short term insurance?

    Thanks a mill.

Check out Dolmen Insurance for public liability (Gerry Doody can look after it for you), also make sure you meet with the clerk of the course as he is the be all and end all as far as on the track goes, and thats even with the accreditation from the pr. You most likely wont be asked for a cert but have it in place just in case. Personally I have never been asked to show it but I have been asked if I had it.. Anything else you can PM me..
