Anyone else notice that the panther in Apocalypto looked cross-eyed when we first see it in the tree? Couldn't help but laugh out loud when I first saw it...

I think District 13 will take some beating, loved that chase. Also Although not exactly a chase in the Bourne Ultimatium the scene when he's on the roof tops is very good.

I thought The Bourne Ultimatum had an excellent one in Tangier, over the rooftops and down the alleys.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

District 13 is the best one.
Although the Bourne and Casino royale one's were good aswell.

I especially love at the end of that movie where the sister talks with a ridiculous Irish accent...

Was gonna mention that before seeing your post. The dog throwing is indeed one of the most ingenious methods ever used by a villain trying to get away

The chase through Paris in Tell No One is definitely one of the best of recent years. No crappy hyper editing or super-human stunts either.

The one at the end of Collateral is great too.

Casino Royale's is my favourite, as it displays the character of Bond while also looking cool: he isn't nearly as athletic as his quarry, but he is able to keep up with him due to resourcefulness and using what comes to hand. Awesome.

The only one that I can think of that has not been mentioned yet is the end of The French Connection Part II. I doubt too many people have seen it though. Gene Hackman's Popeye Doyle has none of the athleticism of the French jumping beans fron District 13, but it is his crazy ruthlessness and determination that gets him through. Worth a look:

Haven't seen that film in years so don't really remember but there is a good bit of the chase in the original which takes place on foot.

There's a pretty good chase in Get Carter too.

The Fellowship of the Ring. At the Falls of Rauros and in Moria.

Raiders of the lost Ark. When Indy is chasing after Marion. Shooting the guy with the swords.

Back to the Future films. The foot/skateboard chases.
