    Hi all,

just a quick and i think relatively easy question.

i recently purchased a macbook in the US and now need to get a european power adaptor to charge the battery.

does anyone know where i can pick one of these up?

    based in west dublin.

    thanks.

Think you can get them in 3G stores or in the Apple store at the bottom of Grafton street, chap Ian in there is sound and he will look after you. Apple sell the set of interchangeable plug ends for around €40 but you have to buy the six to get the one you need, theyre not sold seperatly.

What i would recommend you do is the following as it works fine:

1, Buy an official Apple ipod charger somewhere.
2, Slide the removable plug part off it.
3, Take the removable american plug part off your american mac charger.
4, Swap it for the irish one.

Done and without splashing out the €80 - €100 for the irish mac charger.
