The debate between Christianity and Atheism from what I can see is:

Did god create man or did man create god.

What about the thought that god created man and man created god, unification of theory's. Seems kinda peaceful doesn't it? I can see where a a lot of people will see a contradiction straight off the bat but I'll try and explain it.

I saw a quote from the bible earlier that got me thinking about this. I can't find where I saw it but the general idea was that everything that has happened before will happen again. What I got from that was we are in a cycle, not just us as humans but the entire universe. Death, rebirth and all that (sounds familiar doesn't it?).

Now from what I learned in junior school religion class is that god is in everyone and everything, so it would be hard to think god IS the universe? And from what I can gather that the human experience is the realization of our being. We are still apart of the universe but we exist independently inside it.

So here's a thought, we are a part of the universe and our universe is a part of something else, transcends what we view as god, into something else.

Our experience > The universe > The universe's experience > The universes version of god > so on and so forth

    ^ cycle!

Kinda like: son (us) : father (god/the universe) : grandfather (gods universe, heaven I guess?). Each level having its own god and own experience. What you see is a telescoping of time and space, infinitely expanding but never ending.

Thats my brain fart over, I'll try not let my thoughts on the internet again lol...

The debate between Christianity and Atheism from what I can see is:

Atheists like to have proof before they make an assertion or claim about the world or accept one from someone else, and at least some kind of evidence pointing towards a hypothesis before they make or accept that.

Christianity/Theists will happily make all kinds of claims, assertions and develop all sorts of hypotheses based, ultimately, on nothing. Which is pretty much what you just did there ^^^, though that's not saying of course that you need to be a theist to develop hypotheses from nothing.

And then the Atheist claims that God can neither be proven or not proven. The Christian says that God is present and will give testimony which the Atheist refuses to accept.
