South Park Obama Special *SPOILER*

Anyone see this on Paramount last night? Must say, it was genius.

It was obviously made last wednesday once the acceptance speech and all were done as these were included. Obviously they had the rest of the episode in he bag and waiting too see who won first because they finished it.

Basic story is the entire election was a farce, that McCain and Obama are international jewellery thieves, with all their running mates and spin doctors part of the conspiracy. Utter nonsense but quite funny.

As for the South Park locals, the usual over reaction to victory and defeat. Randy plays a particular blinder in this one.

No doubt it will be repeated ad nauseum, so keep your eye out for it.

actually they made the episode on schedule, apart from the speeches at the beginning. but they had bet on obama winning and were willing to be made fools of on wednesday night if they bet wrong :)

But they had the actual words from his speech as well which means a small amount of tweaking ahd to be done last wednesday at least.

Yeah he said the whole episode was made, bar the speeches.

Two episodes in a row were they have ripped off films. Standard is definitely dropping lately.

Aren't all the episodes this season movie parodies. This weeks certainly is.

What have people got against them ripping off movies? I don't get it. I still find these episodes funny, the fact that they ripped off a movie for the story line doesn't bother me. Is it supposed to ??

i've got nothing against them doing parodies at all, but it gets a bit tiresome when you have 5+ of them in a 14 episode season.

Randy was absolutely hilarious in this episode - he's definitely my favourite character in the show now. "Obama! Well you came and you gave without taking, and I sent you away Obama!!!" Hahahaha
