I cant open firefox on my laptop. I downlowed it again but it still wont open. I get this error message:
    Proxy Server Refused Connection

The connection was refused when attempting to contact the proxy server you have configured. Please check your proxy settings and try again.

The browser is configured to use a proxy server, but the proxy refused a connection.

    * Is the browser's proxy configuration correct? Check the settings and try again.

    * Does the proxy service allow connections from this network?

    * Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance.

try deleting the mozilla folder in your profile and open firefox to rebuild
    your settings.

You have a custom setting applied for your connection. Go Options>Advanced>Network>Connection Settings and then disable your proxy.

  • If you can't open Firefox then how are you getting the error message? Do you mean you can't open the website?
