    Due to elitist parking permit regulations,perhaps another thread for that one,we have to ditch our two cars to buy one.i have a 01 mondeo and she has a 97 golf.will any garage take two trade ins or is the market just bottomed out?

    They will if it makes financial sense to them. Bring the cars in to your local dealer and ask!

    I'd try and sell the 97 Golf privately first. People are always looking for cheap cars, now more than ever. It will be worth very little to a garage at this stage of it's life.
