    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112471/

I really don't like romantic comedy films so I was very reluctant to watch this because I thought it would just end up being the same as every other romantic film that Hollywood churns out. Finally watched it last night and I have to say that it really is a brilliant film!

It's very simple, plot is basically two people meet on a train and spend one romantic night walking around Vienna. It's the dialogue and how realistic the film is that makes it so great. Most of us have met someone while on holidays so can identify with the film and I was delighted there was no stupid Hollywood ending to the film. The acting was great and there is some beautiful shots of Vienna.

Fantastic film all round. Gonna have to get my hands on the sequel which is supposed to be equally good.

    Anyone else like this film?

It's good but I don't I find it realistic. It just feels like one of Linklater's romantic fantasies. But the actors make it work.

I much prefer the second one. It's more mature and the ending is perfect.

Used to be a fan of the two films but feel allergic to them now because of Julie Delpy. She's so philosophical and full of sh1t in the both of them and also her own movie 2 days in Paris if that's what it's called.

Must add her to my list in that other thread about actors who will stop you from going to see a film..
