    Do you use a electrostatic discharge strap when inserting a new motherboard into a computer. i usually dont bother and keep touching the raditor every 2 mins but i have had awfull luck with motherboards in the last 4 months. with them being unstable and having to rma them. also if you suggest to use a strap where could i buy one in dublin city on the southside

    I would use ESD protection, regardless of what anyone says.

    Radionics will sell the straps and a earth bonding plug if you want to go the whole way; a crocodile clip should be fine tho.
    They're also on the south side;
