Planning on heading to Dublin tomorrow and noticed that ordering tickets online for the train is nearly the same price as the bus. If I order tickets do I get a confirmation sent to my email account? ANd if so do I need to have the credit card with me when collecting my ticket?

Yes, you receive a booking reservation number by email, and the number is needed to print the tickets. I assume you are coming from Galway, AFAIK there are machines there for ticket collection where you just swipe the credit card you used and they'll be printed. I've collected tickets twice in Tralee from the booking office and they didnt request the laser card, but they can request the card or may request other identification, so you might want to have it with you in case.

That's my problem, I don't have a credit card. I'm using my parents one and won't be able to get their card
