Just looking for some quick advice.

Have an interview for Pennys tomorrow, just for a sales assistant role, part time. It's been over two years since I've done any interviews.

What questions am I likely to be asked? (Ive read the stickies)

What I know for sure is:
Why do you want to work for us?
Where do you see yourself in five years?

What else are they likely to ask?

How would you deal with a difficult customer.

What are the most important traits a sales person should have.

Give an example of when you demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.

What do you know about the company.

    how is your cat...

    No seriously:

what is your weakness and give an example?

    Strengths?

Your salary, how much you expect?

At my pennys interview I got:
Why do you want to work for us?
Where do you see yourself in five years?

and asked what motivates me in work, why do I want to work in pennys rather than some other store, what's my favourite thing about pennys.

Give an example of when you worked as part of a team

Be sure that you are well able to back up any of your replies with examples.

In my experiance that is one of the key aspects to have sorted in your mind.

Any "sample answers" that you get here won't really help you. What impresses interviewers the most is being able to back up your answers with a short little story about how you coped with a particular situation in the past.

Be prepared for questions such as "How would you deal with a difficult customer?" or "How well do you preform under pressure?" by thinking of a little story to illustrate how you previously dealt with the situation.

If this is a first job, just make the examples from your school days.
