    Hi,

has anyone been snowboarding in america, around new york or boston?? i'm going to be in america around paddys day next year and would like to get in 3 or 4 days boarding. i've heard killington is the best place to go from boston, but what about new york?? i presume snow would still be fine at that time too - i know someone who was there that time last year and the snow was great.

any tips on which would be better, new york or boston??

    thanks, appreciate any replies!

ps. i searched the forum before i posted this so if im repeating someone elses question then sorry!!

There are lots of ski resorts in mid and south New York state.
Take a look at: http://www.onthesnow.com/new-york/skireport.html which provides up-to-date info on conditions. You can use Mapquest to give you information on how to get there.
Also, take a look at the Adirondacks region, accessible from Boston and New York City. Good info is available at: http://www.adirondackskiing.com/
Conditions in March should be ok but with global warming, who knows?
I have assumed that these resorts cater to snow boarders - I guess you would have to check.
