We have our hallway at the mo with like a pale mocha colour, its very light but it seems to absorb any light coming in (which is not much) as opposed to brightening the place up. We have light wooden floors and apart from that no colour scheme. We want to repaint it, should i stick with bright, light colours like a pale cream to open up the place or go with something bright like a yellow or orange. I love feature walls but dont think that's work in a hall? Saw a lovely deep purple in the crown catalogue and we haev the wall facing you as you walk up the stairs a bright green so the purple would love good but itd be too dark. Thanks.
