    every now and again i'll take a couple on shots of some of the local beaches and strands, and i'll be pretty pleased with my results.
    then i see shots like this which makes me realise i'm shite.
    but as they say, the day you stop learning is the day you should retire (or something), so i guess i'll just have to up my game

    I must say I prefer the second one - it's really atmospheric and I like the reflections of the people walking on the beach.

    Thanks a million boardsies, really glad you all like these shots. I'm going through some more I took to see if there's any more keepers and I'll keep ye posted.

    Longshanks, all I'd say is that I consider myself a complete beginner and when I look at other posts here I think exactly the same way i.e. "I would love to be able to take a shot like that". :o
