    Tippex- maybe you should add that it is not always consistent. I have flown Aer Lingus many times out of Dublin to JFK and I would say the last five times I have done so we cleared immigration in JFK, or Shannon stopover, not Dublin.

    You might want to clarify that not all of the above flights (i.e only some Aer Lingus to JFK, and only one of the Continental flights) pre-clear.

    And as pointed out, this isn't always a 100% fixed list as it can vary depending on different factors, so I'm not sure whether it has too much sticky value
