missing pm email bug again

I have not signed up to be notifed by email when I get a pm.

I just got an email saying I have a pm with the contents of the pm by AL][EN contained in the email but there is no trace of the pm in my inbox.

Title of the PMs? PM me with them if sensitive. Nobody else appears to have complained of similar so I imagine your account is fubared somewhere along the line.

Found the source of your problem, only because I happened to have a similar issue due to having two accounts now.

You'll notice that the text of the PM says "Dear Theadydal". Well, your username is Thaedydal, and you're getting emails from both your accounts into the same inbox, presumably When you go to check, you're logged in to your normal account, so they don't show up.

Mystery solved.

I don't have two accounts.
I did have two accounts and the accounts were merged.
The names on the accounts were Thaed and Thaedydal.
The reason why the Theadydal is used in the email I can only conclude
is that the email account which I have registered for boards.ie is Theadydal@whatever.com

It would appear that the accounts were never merged, or never merged correctly. The Theadydal account does exist.
