:confused:may be a stupid question so please forgive me.im on the dole since january and cant get a job like so many,so i have decided to go to oz in the new year?will the social help me with any of the costs as it is in there interest for me to leave also:confused:thanks in advance:)

And what's more there is an "emigration tax"
10 euro tax on long haul flights.

Sorry, I doubt there is anything there for you but possibly make sure you claim tax back for previous years if you can and if you are due anything

Sorry to say but as far as I know you wont get any help. Also it can be very difficult to get a visa to work in Australia (and costly). Im sure you have done lots of research but maybe this link http://www.emigrantadvice.ie/Emigrating%20to%20Australia%202007%20Factsheet.pdf will help you.
