Gas Bills

    We are a business currently paying thru the nose to Bord Gais- we have a large Gas usage. Are there other companies out there that we could use instead of Bord Gais? Any ways to save on these bills?

    Bord Gais have the monopoly on natural gas in the republic, you could try alternative fuels - solar, pellets etc normally govt grants are available for switching to environmentally friendly power sources

    Bord Gais do not have a monopoly any longer. Since July, 2004, all buusiness users have been able to chose their own Gas supplier. You can see the current full list of suppliers at the Commission for Energy Regulation www.cer.ie
