    Hi,
Company i am working for has made a lot of people redundant recently.... they are also starting to get rid of all contract workers ( which includes me unfortunately) .... i am working for a recruitment agency but have been in the same position here the last 2 1/2 years.

So i'm just wondering if i would be entitled to redundancy, also is it still the case that if you under 40 you lose the first two years money?

Just trying to decide whether to hang in till the end :( !!

Contractors as in self employed contractors don't. But in this case, we're talking about an agency employee - who's now got a full time contract. I'd imagine they have the right to find similar employment on one of their other contracts. Other than that, i'm only guessing but i'd say if they had to pay out redundancy, an agency would just give statutory and nothing more.

Bound to be someone here who has been in that situation?
