Wii Play (& Wii Remote) €39.49 on Play.com

Not 100% sure if this is a Bargain Alert, but Play.com is selling Wii Play which comes with a Wii Remote for €39.49.

those buying a new wii have a way of getting it for a fiver in extravision

I tried, but play won't ship it outside of the UK to me - only deliver to the address on my credit card statement.

They wont ship remotes or the likes outside of the UK. The game itself would be fine but obviously no point in having it without the remote.

Dont despair.

You can order it from Sendit.com for €37.99 or if you change the currency and buy in sterling it would work out even cheaper at about €35

Shipping is free as I have bought from them quite a lot in the past.

In the top right hand corner, change the currency to Euro. On play you have to pay in euro if you want it delivered to Ireland.

Thanks, but that is not the problem. They won't ship electronics outside of the UK, regardless of the currency.

But it's in the 'Games' category, not 'Electronics'.

I went through and got to the 'Confirm Order' area without any message saying it couldn't be delivered. It's fine!

If the electronic item in question is listed in the games section, Play.com may well deliver it to Ireland.

I received both a wireless gaming receiver and a fancy gaming keyboard from them. As alastair_doom says though, make sure you have selected the correct currency.

My bad !

I went back in to try again - Wii Play & 2nd wheel (for Mario Kart) - it took the order without issue. Except for the fact that the CC details they have for me are out of date. I have since cancelled it.

In the meantime I order same from sendit for approx. EUR 56.

mx2 are also doing it for £29.99 delivered, this works out at €36.73 at todays rate.
