Men's clothes in Dublin? Say NO to skinny jeans

Anybody know any good stores? City Centre is preferable but sure throw any recommendations you've got in here.

And by 'good' I do not mean places like Topman/River Island/Burton's etc. Basically anywhere that is selling skinny jeans and tiny jackets for men and doing so with a straight face is pretty much off limits.

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for I'm a bit scruffy and occasionally preppy so places that stock anything from hoodies to stylish coats and jumpers would be cool.

Love to find a place that stocks cool, independent labels but I'm yet to stumble across one in Dublin...

    Penney's? Really?

I know they do some class stuff for girls because a girl I was seeing is always getting cool stuff there but I didn't realise they did respectable guy's clothes.

Well i dont know what the pennys in henery street si like now cos i havent bought anytrhing there since the 80s put Primark in UK have a big sale on at moement and i cleaned up last week in some really good quality jeans , T shirts and stylish short sleeve Shirts .Somtimes a name of a shop is enough and it's a snob thing with some people not to shop (or be seen to ) shop there . Nothing to do with the quality of clothes .You pay for what you want and if you can afford to shop in brown thomas then primark wont be your shop.

I have seen nice mens clothes in Dunnes, casual stuff but not skinny jeans or anything too trendy. Don't know exactly what you're looking for but it's worth a look. Debenhams too.

Urban Outfitters, All Saints, G-Star, Size?, Arnotts, Zara

Last time I tried on clothes in Dunnes nothing seemed to fit properly... I find that a lot with cheap stuff and I'd worry that Penney's might be the same way but I'll check it out.

I know Urban Outfitters, yeah, bought a lot of stuff there over the years.

Where are All Saints and Size? Also, i thought Zara only did women's clothes... guess I was wrong.

All Saints has some alright stuff but 'tis very pricey.

Also - the name - gah! horrible!

But I did buy some nice jeans in there once.

DEATH TO SKINNY JEANS! I really hate them with a passion!

I have like 3 pairs of jeans form next, the style they sell there is a little too dressey for my like and im not into the whole random numbers beside american places t-shirts, but for good bootcut jeans i think its a tough one to beat!

Well in the end it was Urban Outfitters that came through for me. Surprising because it's been a while since I found something I liked in there. Got a nice scarf in Zara too. The sizes are a bit weird in Zara though. I'm not a big guy but their mediums were tiny on me.

All Saints is pretty cool, I reckon I'll head back in future but it wasn't what I was looking for at the moment.

Cheers for the replies you muthas.

    All Saints
    Pull and Bear
    TK Maxx
Urban Out. (shame about the jeans)
    never rule out Penneys
American Apparel will be a great addition

Topman has died and gone to fashion hell. I've bits from there I intend to keep for donkeys years, but alot of the new stuff is pure muck.

H&M, Pull and Bear and Burton can be decent enough for laid-back casual clothes..
