Savage f/tr .308 30" barrell as standard. Jim Griffin in Tullamore has some on order. He got two but they are sold.
Nightforce 8-32, harris bipod, rear bunny bag.
    155gr smk or lapua 155 scenar , 47gr varget, br1 primer.
Any thing less than 1/2 moa at any distance won't cut it.
That's the theory anyway, don't always get it, eh?
Come up to Tullamore and join in the fun, c ya

    Yep, do-able,
At 300 I average 11/2" - 21/2" no or little wind, best is 18mm,,, (once!) center to center. Jp C shot my firearm and got the same size groups on the same day with the same ammo.
Don't forget the bull at 3 is 3" and the v bull is 11/2"
Take that to a 1000 and it's 10" and 5". And no, I am not the worlds best shot, but these figures are what I need to do to be up there with those who can shoot.....?
If I could shoot 1/2 moa all the time or even most of the time or even any of the time I wouldn't even talk to you peasants on this site.. Ha Ha .
    C ya :)
    and good shooting.

    Hi again JW
I did mention wind above. I have sailed for 25 years and we didn't talk about wind as much at sea as we do on the range,,,,,,, lots of hot air,,,, if you have a rifle that can shoot, if you can shoot, and you have the rounds sorted out, then the only thing left is the bloody wind.
At Bisley over the weekend a guy shooting alongside me shot Paul Wilsons target next to us, that went down well. I was wondering where his shots were going as the first four or five were off the board, he was totally misreading the wind. I haven't even mentioned mirage yet,,,, I can't read that either.

Come up to Tullamore, the Irish Vintage Rifle Club are having a shoot this Sunday, so lots happenning.
