    hello to all!

i was thinking of starting selling some promo/souvenir goods at events like matches, concerts, festivals etc on the main passing trade routes to these venues
wouldnt be even a stall, literally a few boxes with some products on top and trading by hand using a money belt!

i was wondering if anyone knows realistically whats the rules are regarding this?i know there is a licence for it but is it enforced like that no drinking in public places one where i see people in town all the time drinking cider or what?

we're just a bunch of ambitious college students trying to make next months rent we mean no harm and if any curiosity about the product (promise you'l have hardly seen it before but its massive abroad like in america, canada, australia and new zealand) great for promo and personalising!) is aroused by this post and if you yourself might be interested in selling some in your own stall/trailer get back to me!

thanks for any advice guys and gals!

There are laws about selling branded products, Promo items and alike, you would need the permission of the license holder (GAA, IRFU, Concert promoter ETC). You would also need a street vendors licence issued by the local authority or city council. Selling out of the back of a van could bring you more trouble than it's worth.

Agree with Musha - I've heard stories of people outside F1 races practically having limbs broken by the strong arm security guys who are there to protect every penny that Formula 1 can get for itself.

Between the legal issues and potential torment from the organisers it may be worth getting a licence and steering clear of the hired muscle.

oops my bad the products i would be selling arent branded like, they would be like irish type products you know, shamrocks, tricolour etc and then the county crests for the big gaa games that arent protected ive made sure to include no images that are 'owned' because what i will try to do in future is to enter into talks with the irfu to use their name and designs etc!
