    Can't find much about him apart from his earth shattering runs in 96/97 or reports from a few races in the early 2000s - he just disappeared!
    The guy is still only 32 ish, thought he like Tergat and Haile would be stepping up to the marathon.
    Read on a blog that he was still running a bit in Kenya but what happened to him in the past 5 years?!

    He tried make a comeback a few years ago in the marathon but didn't finish. He was part of the Kimbia group but doesn't seem to be anymore. Moving up to the marathon isn't just a matter of doing it. It's a nice bit different than running 3 and 5k.

    He looks a good bit overweight going by pictures of him taken earlier in the year. He's apparently a bit of a headcase. I'd be pretty surprised if he did anything of note again.
