no signal then signal no sound

got a sky box with a fta card. when i go looking for radio2 i get no signal, after about 5 mins i get a signal but no sound. i wiggle the dish input and eventually get sound. lasts from 5 mins to 3-5 hours then loose it again. all good in my sky+ box. think its my coax connection. should my copper shield be pulled down in…
