Maybe too late for olympics and stuff yeah, but defo not to late to win a Novice title and from there maybe an Intermediate.
You would start off with the Novices, this is for boxers who are aged between 17-34 with less than 5 fights.
After your 5 fights you would move up to the Intermediates.

Most clubs take beginners, where you from and I'll try and put you on the right direction for a club???
    And yes 75kg is Middleweight.

I'd try lucan if i was you as it's new club and has mostly beginners at the moment so it be great for you. Karls a sound sound lad so you'll be very welcome , i'd say he'd be a strict trainer but an excellent one cause he was a excellent boxer with a good boxing brain. Best of luck anyway.

Closest clubs to Citywest are Westside Boxing Club Brookfield and Golden Cobra Jobstown - run by Bill Stacey and Paddy Hyland respectively. Great clubs, facilities in Westside excellent recently refurbed, Golden Cobra struggling currently looking for a site to build a gym but have some high achievers in their ranks.
