There is a Gamestop in The Quays shopping center and directly across from that is a HMV.

Any idea the prices in them??
Are they the only two you know of?

Yeah they are the only two I know..

Think the price is around 299 Sterling.

Was in Newry yesterday - not much of a saving on the PS3 up there tbh.. Zavvi in the Buttercrane sometimes has promotions on bundle kits so have a look there!

All places have the equivalent euro price beside the sterling price - and none stood out...could be wrong!

Was there anything else that was a good price that you got?

Argos on both sides of the border are doing the 60gb version with the Mega accessories pack, Little big planet and gran tourismo for
    £299 / €399.

Edit - I should clarify those prices, the NI price is £299 (€360-ish), the ROI price is €399
Oh, and it finishes tomorrow (Nov 11th) in both areas as well.

I was in Lisburn last week and had a good look at electronic prices including the PS3 and PSP. There is very little to be saved on electronic goods north of the border. A few quid here and there but not a lot. TV's are cheaper for older models but current models are very close in price. There is a lot to be said about buying electronics from a shop you can return the unit to if it goes belly up inside one year.

Now if you are buying cars or everyday foodstuffs then by all means get in your car and buy north of the border.

Bought Buzz TV Quiz for PS3 in the north last weekend for £40 (bout €51), saving €19 (its €69.99 down here)

    BUMP!

I have relatives going up to newry in the next few days - does anyone know the PS3 prices up there?

I think a 160GB slim + Gran Turismo 5 is doable in Ireland for 300euro, hoping to better that up north though!

Anyone know of any deals/bundles etc?

    Thanks :D

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9285101.htm#promotion_2

    285 pounds there with GT5, a 38.99 game and a 17.99 game, it's offer 2 on that page.

There's an Argos right in The Quays on the right as you go in.

For the sake of a few quid, the country could do with cash being spent in shops this side of the border.
