man want band! (cork)

    hey i'm 19 lookin to start up some kind of fantastical musical exploration with a drummer and a bassist in the cork area

    i've been playing guitar for six years now and i pretty much want to anything whether its a covers band or jazz or a blues thing or a metal thing or grunge or wuss rock or anything i'm up for anything......EXCEPT!! any shape or form of pop/punk or anything like them 'the' bands knockin around now and bands like REM or oasis.they just don't float my boat.

    whether people want to gig or not is grand i just want to play music either way.

    i'm into soundgarden, any 60's and 70's stuff like hendrix or led zeppelin & black sabbath & skynyrd, some prog stuff like dream theatre,some pearl jam, audioslave, silverchair, some arch enemy, megadeth, wuss rock like nickelback(terrible but i can't help but like em) and alter bridge, velvet revolver, janes addiction, the list goes on

    if you don't like any of them bands there don't wince i really am up for anything good.
