We have good seats (I hope)!

We are booked in the Hilton, got a very good rate in the end

What can I do to try and get him to meet ANY wrestlers, where should we go?

I cant wait to go now

Hey jessielady.

First off, you might have a better chance than you think of meeting some of them as they more than likely will be booked into the same hotel as you.

Aswell as that, there should be a very organised meets in the city somewhere. Dont expect it to be anyone too over the top, but its usually somewhere like HMV or the like that will be holding it.

I haven't told my DS they might be staying in the same hotel, just in case!

I can see I'm going to have to spend my time in reception or the bar:)

Are they friendly or will they be pee'd off with an 8 year old with an autogragh book?

I have a friend who regularly goes to the same event in england and always books into the same hotel as them and they get to hang out with some of them because they have been doing it about four years now (even gets recognised by matt hardy every time).

Anyways.. as long as she/he isnt all "LOOK LOOK ITS...." and causes a scene.
It would be expected by the wrestlers of course but it could annoy the security team.

Anyone in particular would you be hoping to ask the usual "Excuse me, would you mind if i could...."?

Thought I would have to reel off wrestling terms to show I knew what I was talking about!

I think my DS will be excited if he see's any wrestlers, when we booked the tickets John Cena was meant to be there, he knows he wont be now

He is trying to like Randy Orton but I can see why he has doubts!!

He wouldn't be the type to be in your face at all, he would be very polite

"Un named" wrestlers (I think Kofi Kingston & Mickie James) will be at Smyths Toys, Boucher Road retail park @ 4pm. Entrance is by ticket only though. Im gonna go anyway.

Chances are they'll be in the same hotel (therefore, will be in and out of the 'lobby' and the bar during the night.

Seen as he's 8, he may not get much luck with the bad guy wrestlers, as they may try to remain in character and just get rid of him. Is it RAW or SmackDown!? If its SmackDown! you'd probably be wasting your time with the Undertaker (rarely signs) and MVP (supposedly a cocky prick, same goes for CM Punk). Kennedy may not be much use either.

People I've heard of that are fan friendly would be Matt Striker, Great Khali, Charlie Haas, Santino, Miz, Big Show, Morisson, and a few others.

Obviously, it all depends what mood they are in at the time, and how/when you approach them.

For example, if you approach a wrestler whilst he is getting keys to his room at the counter, in the middle of eating some food, etc. then chances are you'll be told where to go. But if you approach them mannerly, and ask for a picture, etc. then you may get somewhere


(I'm basing the nice people and ass holes off people from an american wrestling blog i post on. A lot of the people there make threads about meeting wrestlers and who's nice and who isn't, etc.)

I haven't told my DS we might meet anyone yet, so if we do, he will be happy out, as he's not expecting it

Its RAW we are going to see, so if Santino is friendly, thats good although my DS has said he would have to tell him to stop being such an eejit!

So I'll hang about in the hotel and head to smyths toys for 4pm, he likes Kofi Kingston:)

met all the wrestlers and got loads of pics and autographs

How did you meet them, out of interest? Any of our advice hurt?

The advice was all good:D

We met them at the hotel

I dont think you would have much chance to meet them at the Odyssey

Batista arrived at the hotel at the same time as us, then we met Shawn Michaels when he got locked out of his room, we were staying on the same floor

Very friendly and very nice to kids

Randy Orton didnt do any signings and Ray Mysterio is TINY, was really nice to DS, I had to ask who he was, as he didnt have his mask on:o

got a great photo of him though

my DS got pictured asking HBK if he could drop kick him, HBK is laughing and signing his autograph book - so cool, couldnt believe it when he went to the website and seen he was there
