i did a years course there before when i was 18.i was too young and immature to appreciate what i was learning.i didnt want to know about micing guitars or how to splice tape together or soldering cables(to an extent i still dont)so i spent most of my time either asleep or in abbey discs.:D
its a real nice facility and the people there are extremely helpful and friendly, but apart from that i cant comment on anything else as i didnt really pay that much attention and hadnt the foggiest what was going on at the time:o

i did the year long course about 12 years ago (our class was the last to splice tape, and i got quite good at it) and went in like a sponge and soaked up everything they taught me. great course, IF you put in the effort.

they must have lied to you coz we were splicing tape til the cows came home, think it was an exam, you had to splice a piece of music that was 1 miute long and make it 30 seconds long and have it make sense
