Hi all, quick question. I don't have an ipod but my friend does, anyway is it possible to copy an album onto a cd from itunes. An album I want is available months before it's physical release. If my get my friend to purchase it can she then copy it onto a cd? I'd presume yes.

    Any help, cheers

If it's from the iTunes store it may be write protected or you can try File>Library>Back up to Disc, to see if it will copy, it should do so. :)

Protected AAC files can be burnt to disc from iTunes in the same was as any other music, doesn't have to involve backing up purchases. Backing up will just make a data CD of the files, which wont be much good to the OP. Just select the songs/album you want, protected or otherwise, in iTunes, make a playlist of your selection (file menu) and then choose the Burn to Disc option on the bottom right hand side of the screen. That should do the trick
