Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gobekli Tepe - 6000 years older than Stonehenge

The Smithsonian magazine have a great article about the discovery of a megalithic temple complex in Turkey, that dates back 11,000 years.

The stones are covered with symbolic markings and inscriptions; but of course there is no way of having any idea what they might have stood for. "There's more time between Gobekli Tepe and the Sumerian clay tablets [etched in 3300 B.C.] than from Sumer to today," the guy who found it said.

Fascinating stuff, considering conventional archaeology used to say we were all just cavemen back then.
