    Hi all,

Just wondering whether anyone could help me with a problem I'm having. Vodafone 3G Modem has been playing up for a while. Tried to uninstall the program to attempt reinstalling it from scratch but unable to uninstall using Windows Control Panel (Vista with Service Pack 1) as keep getting the Error Message "Setup.exe is not working." I also get this error message when I attmept to uninstall in Safe Mode.

I've tried manually deleting the program files but when I attempt to reinstall the software from the USB Modem it fails to reinstall and gives an error message about uninstalling the previous version; something I have been unable to do.

Does anyone have any advice? System Restore has also failed me and I'm really missing my internet access

Try revo uninstaller (link above) its free and as far as I can remember it can work on broken installations .

You could try installing the app again but then reboot into safe mode and uninstall from there.
(greater access to the registery and less chance of conflicting code errors)
This should be done especally for any app that kicks in from the start-up of windows by the way.
