    Hi everyone,

I have never come across here in Irelan, but reading UK literature etc. you qute often find reference to the RIBA framework.... for example:

RIBA Stage A = Appraisal (briefing)
RIBA Stage B = Preparing Strategic Brief
RIBA Stage C = Outline Propsals

    .....and so on...........

Do we (as engineers) use the sme system here?
I personally refer to the "stages" as inception (interpretation of brief); outline proposals; pre-tender design; tender stage; tender review; installation; handover.......

    Many thanks,

    Matt
