Dublin Optician (Ophthalmic?) For Contact Lenses

    Hi all!
At 58 years of age I, not surprisingly, suffer from presbyopia. I would like contact lenses rather than my glasses. I have read about recent advances in gas permeable long wear lenses which can handle the short and long sighted vision problems. But I went to SpecSavers and they seemed to know very little about all this.
If anyone knows of a suitably qualified specialist in Dublin who would be up to speed on current contact lens technology and options, please let em know!
    Thanks!!

I found Supersavers opticians on Talbot St excellent for contact lense tests. They really took the time and effort to help me find the right lenese and the eye exam was very thorough.
I had previously got the test done in specsavers for them and there really is no comparison between the 2 at all.

I go to Specs Express in Liffey street to get my Gas permeable lens. I've got short sight and double vision, and I cycle in the rain, so lens are the way to go for me.
