    It sounds good!

However if it was played it to me, not knowing what was what I'd say it's an Indieish Band recorded by a Metaller! - The song length, clicky kick and lead riff sound give the game away!

I'd be choppin her down to 3 mins too.

Also, I'd commit Hari Kari rather than let the drummer do the Pea-Soup on the Verse Hi-Hat .... to Franz and hence too 5 years ago for me.

But sure it's all just opinions ....

    Hey!
I'm not a metaller:p (I just record lots of it)
The guitars are tracked with a tele and high passed at about 120.
    That's not very metal.
The kick may be a bit clicky alright but the ME seems to have pulled a bit of low mid (as they tend to). Listening back after the session I am a bit unhappy with the snare but am happy with the overall clarity the isa828 has given the kit. (guitars and vox are API)
I am just getting used to the sound of the Apogee mini DAC which sounds very different to the Yamaha 01v96 dac I was using before. I actually got these guys in for a free day so I could find my way around the new gear without having a paying customer watching the clock. Next week I'll have to get used to new Focal Twins too.
As for the length/structure of the song I tracked and mixed this in one day without hearing it in advance so there is no production input by me.

Thanks for the opinion Paul. I will take it into account.
    Michael

Fair enough! Are you SURE you're not a Metaller?

good tune - the guitar is a bit basic though riff wise.
    i like the vocals

what was the drummer using - the snare sounds like sh1t
sound like either steel or badly tuned birch.
and mean as in a sh1t snare -not a recording
and the cymbals not much better - they sounda bit cheap .
    the toms are nice enough

drummer is flamming the kick and snare as well in the middle bit .

id give him the boot if it was my band to be honest.
